just keep swimming…

That’s about how I feel right now….this song by Dori from Finding Nemo has been my theme song for the last week or so, “just keep swimming, swimming, swimming…”

This last week has flown by, and at the same time has drug along. Does that make sense?

Husband has been working hard, late, and out of town and that’s left me to savor the short moments I have been able to have with him over the last week, meaning this blog came last. Sorry! Thanks to all of you who checked on me, we’re doing great, just busy! So here’s a random rundown of the last week, without much actual substance.

Apparently, I’m now just as accident prone as my husband. So we all know the knee incident that led to surgery… well about a week or so ago, I was in a hurry to run inside the house and grab what I had forgotten while on my way to a friend’s, so I ran in front of my car in the driveway and jumped OVER the sink hole we currently have in the yard left over from the tree stump. Well, I landed just on the edge of the loose dirt and rolled my ankle. I didn’t think much of it then, because I was in such a rush, but it has been a little sore. Then Monday, while at the gym working out, I noticed it was pretty painful so I reached down and realized how swollen it was. Whoops! …and it’s the same leg, go ahead and laugh!

This weekend it rained a lot and I loved it, but it was sure cold… I made 2 trips to Starbucks on Saturday, and I’m not ashamed. No, I still don’t drink coffee.

Also this weekend, we went to Sing Song at ACU – and by we went, I mean I forced him to go. It was a cute show, but probably the most fun I had there was meeting a blog reader!

Painted my nails on Sunday evening and the polish is still looking good, SCORE!

So that’s about it… that and work, and KMann Designs, and everything else! I have started on the next Chapter of our love story too, so hopefully I’ll get it up this week!
